“Give me the remote, else I’ll complain to mom!! ”
“I didn’t eat your chocolate!!”
“You know something? You’re adopted!!”
“Mom and dad love me more than you”
You can relate to the above dialogues if you have a sibling. Well, siblings have a love-hate relationship which not even parents understand. It’s one such relationship where you fight, but you care as well. You scold each other, but can’t tolerate when someone else comments even if it’s your parents. You mock each other, but also love each other.
Remember the dialogue from mom, when you guys asked her, “Ma, can we have a pet dog?” The reply would obviously be, “I’m already done with 2 dogs, can’t handle another!”? (yes, your mom called you both dogs!)
Remember the time, when one of you asked a petty favour and the other described the list of favours done to you since your birth?
Remember the time when you guys took the kitchen to your control? (#SiblingsSpecial?)
Remember the deal between you and your sibling like “Don’t tell about my girlfriend (or boyfriend) and I’ll do whatever you tell” (Even terrorists won’t blackmail this efficiently!)
I now so badly want to tell “God bless our parents!! They’ve definitely have gone through tough times because of siblings’ stuff!!
However, these are memories that create a strong bond between siblings. We nurture our love, care, and trust for each other in such a powerful way that we shall share all our problems and thoughts to them ( some of them, even parents wouldn’t be aware of.)
However, the blood relationship between siblings is so powerful that it definitely needs a strong force to destroy. They trust each other (remember about the deal?), believe in each other and more importantly, love each other infinitely.
