“What will happen if that fan drops on this lecturer?”
“How did this guy become a lecturer?”
Well, last bench folks, don’t you think these are some of our thoughts while in class?
Coming late to class, preferring the last bench even if the lecturer insists on sitting on the first bench, having lunch during class, etc, are some of the qualities of last bench students.
I remember an incident where some of us were grabbing a dessert in the middle of a class and the lecturer caught us! Guess what we told- “Sir, this is from the temple, please do have it” (and he believed it!)
When it comes to taking notes, all in one was our policy. (Save paper, save trees)
I don’t even remember how we studied and graduated. 1000s of exams, assignments, etc., I still am unsure of the inspiration I got to sit and study for all those exams. TBH, I don’t even remember the last time I listened to the class lectures!
For us, bunking was an all-time job (and only some of us know the secret to still maintain minimum attendance.) Only last bench students will know the happiness of being called a don! From not knowing the subject name to actually passing it, we did find it a strenuous task.
Chatting with friends, playing games, watching movies, stalking people, etc., are some of the stunts performed by professionals (Last benchers), please do not attempt these without any supervision.
Lastly, I am a proud last bencher, you know why? Because memories are cherished for life! Are you a last bencher as well? Do mention an interesting memory of your last bench student days.
