“If you need something , go ask your dad!!”, “Goa? Go wherever you want after marriage”, Cricket kit? Exams are nearing, if you get 95%, I’ll think about it”
I guess many of us would have heard these dialogues right? And have you guys observed how common these are? Most of us can relate to this.
Imagine, we need money for a school or college trip. We suddenly become so responsible, cleaning clothes, vessels and stuff. Pleasing mom with words like “I’m so lucky to have you mom”, “you look so beautiful today”, etc. Then comes the dialogue, “I don’t have money, so don’t even try”. It seems like they have some magic in how they understand us.
We say “I’m unable to find my black dress on the table.” then she says “It is here, go check your eyes first”. I mean, how did she find? What kind of mystery is this? Another instance where when we say “Ma, I have stomach pain” an epic dialogue comes out “Stop using that mobile, you will be alright”.
Imagine that day when you had that yummy pav bhaji and finally entered home being stomach full. Mom would come with this,” seems like somebody ate some chats outside” How did she find???
Even after all this, we come home and first search for her, not because we need something from her but just want to see her. Well, that is a mother for us. However she is, she is the most beautiful person and we love however she is. Because, she is the only one who understands our hunger, pain, happiness, etc. She is the only one who is concerned about us and will love us however we are.
